The Thompson Warriors continued their winning ways last Friday shooting down the visiting Hayes Eagles 40-14.
Despite what appeared to be a game of total domination by the Warriors, Thompson head football coach Brian Maner said his team has a lot to correct.
He noted his team (4-1,2-1) will travel to play 6A region foe Tuscaloosa County this Friday night and will need a good week of practice to get ready for the Wildcats.
The Warriors rushed for 215 yards against the Eagles and passed for 98 yards for 313 yards total offense.
The Warrior defense held Hayes to 160 yards on the ground and 48 yards through the air for 108 total yards.
Junior quarterback Alan Reeves completed six-of-nine passes 98 yards and suffered one interception.
Adrian Marcus rushed 12 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns for the Warriors while Sideeg Cooper carried the load 11 times for 60 yards and three touchdowns.
