James Robert Carroll, age 77 of Helena passed away Aug. 23, 2006.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Ann Lovelady Carroll; son, Jeff (Cindy) Carroll and daughter, Lee Anne (John) Hall; grandchildren, Leah, Spencer and Hannah Carroll and Somer, Holly and Ashlee Hall; brothers, Richard, Tommy and Gordon Carroll; and sisters, Sarah Durbin, Betty Daniel and Alice Knowles.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Helena.

The funeral was Saturday morning, Aug. 26, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Southern Heritage. The Rev. Mike Miller officiated with burial following at the Helena City Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday. Ridout&8217;s Southern Heritage directed.
