Clara Barefield, 86, of Calera, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born on May 3, 1920 in Chilton County, Ala.

She is survived by her daughters, JoBeth (Ralph) Hall, Mary Ellen (Lyndal) Cost Sr.; grandchildren, Lyndal (Elaine) Cost Jr., Steven (Charla) Hall, Larry (Jeannie) Cost, Sarah (Tim) Nichols, Beverly (Charles) Klein; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of

other family and friends.

Service was Monday, May 22, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Calera Baptist Church. Burial followed in Shelby Memory Gardens. Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home is directing
