Funeral for Pearl Fromm Strong, 85, was Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Fredericks Funeral Home with the Rev. Lisa Stenner presiding.

Burial followed in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Stromm was born Nov. 28, 1920, to the late Walter and Esther Fromm and died April 22, 2006, in Alabaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Strong.

She served as a WAC during World War II in Europe. She was presbyterian by faith.

Survivors include her son, Russell (Donna) Strong; and her grandchildren, Kevin M. Strong, Holly M. Isaacs, Shelby L. Strong, Sophie L. Strong and James R. Strong.
