Mary Frances Nalley Swindle

Former Carbon Hill resident Mary Frances Nalley Swindle departed this life at 65 years of age at Baptist Montclair Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. on April 5, 2006.
Visitation was held April 8 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Ala. A burial will take place at a later date at the family farm in Canadian, Texas.
Mrs. Swindle was born in Six Mile, Ala. On May 24, 1940 to John Cadmus and Mary Kate Hyde Nalley.
She attended school at Montevallo, Ala. She was married to James Paul Swindle on August 18, 1957.
She was a homemaker and mother to eight children, grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a Jehovah&8217;s Witness and a member of the Pampa, Texas congregation.
She was preceded in death by her parents John C. and Mary Kate; husband John Swindle on August 18, 2001 and a grandson Justice Parker in 2004.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters John and Mary Nalley of Montevallo, Ala.; Joe and Louise Nalley of Montevallo, Ala.; Allen and Becky Gill of Montevallo, Ala. and Harvey and Jim and Lanice Bently of Liberal, Kan.
Children Frances Galloway of Moody, Ala.; Ralph and Paula Macias of Canadian, Texas; Pam Mier of Canadian, Texas; Mike and Jackie Swindle of San Angelo, Texas; Stan and Alice Bentley of Canadian, Texas and Harvey and Ginger Moon of Kelso, Wash.
She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren George, Tiffany, Tara and Nicholas Randolph; Chris, Misty, Joshua and Ethan Galloway; Tabitha and Shyra Bishop; Raven Updyke; Donnie, Katrina, Amber, Josh, Donnie Jr., James and April Sonnier; Cameron Bodkin; TJ, Chelsea and Jane Adcock; Justo Aaron; Daniel Macias; Derek, Chantill, Patience and Calvin Parker; Larry, Amanda and Justin Young; Carissa Mier, Jacob Swindle, Bryan and Brandon Swindle; Anna Lisa and Julian Mier, Megan and Katelyn Bentley and Mark and Nicholas Kaleb Moon
