Betty Aycock, 76, of Sheffield died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her daughter&8217;s home. She was born July 16, 1929, in Mississippi. She was a member of Southern Boulevard Church of Christ. She lived for 56 years of her life on Crestline Avenue in Sheffield in the home her husband built for them. She spent the last few months with her daughter and her family in Wilsonville.

She is survived by her children, Beth (Jim) Lomenick and Danny Joe (Glenda) McGee; her grandchildren, Greg Lomenick, Lynn Blaylock, Christy Gay, Todd Lomenick, Jonathan McGee and Patrick McGee; and eight great-grandchildren.

Service was March 25 at 10 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Graveside service was March 26 at 2 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield, Ala., Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
