Funeral services for M.L. Jones, 82, of Wilsonville, was at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial followed in Pinelawn Gardens.

Visitation was held prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones, who passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at a local hospital, was born on May 17, 1923 in Oakman, Alabama. He was retired from Alabama Power, Gaston Steam Plant after 41 years of service. He was a member of Wilsonville United Methodist Church, an avid golfer and a member of the Energizers.

He is preceded in death by sons, Julian Jones and Perry Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Perrine Jones; children, Sandra J. Dye, David Jones, Donald Jones, Clark Jones; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Donaldson and Flo House.
