Construction is complete on a 32,000-square-feet addition to North Shelby Baptist Church, located on U.S. Highway 280.

TurnerBatson Architects provided the architectural and interior design services.

The new two-story educational/fellowship building features a fellowship hall to seat 400, administrative offices, commercial kitchen, choir room, education space and dedicated youth space.

The TurnerBatson project team included Rick Batson, AIA, principal-in-charge; Gary Walton, AIA, project architect; Chris Rogers, AIA and Andrew Butler, AAIA, project coordinators; Kristin Corley, IIDA, interior designer; and Tom Davis, construction administration manager.

Johnson Kreis served as general contractor, with Bill Kreis as project manager.
