Two local football players announced where they&8217;ll play college football next season.

Thompson&8217;s Justin Cofer announced last week that he will sign with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The 6-foot-6, 255-pound Cofer finished his senior year as a tight end for the Warriors, catching 17 passes for 186 yards and a score.

Spain Park defensive back Carlos Anderson announced his intention to play for Valdosta State on Monday. Anderson said he received an offer from North Alabama but chose Valdosta
