James Calvin Miller, 70, of Columbiana died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at home. He was born Feb. 21, 1935, in Shelby County. He belonged to the Apostolic Truth Center in Shelby County and worked at Joseph Lumber Company.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Miller; his children, Jeff Miller, Tina (Ron) Clingan and Beth Brown; his stepchildren, Jason Hardin, Jess Hardin, James Riddle III and Angel Hardin (Johnny Ray) Williams; his grandchildren, Brian and Angela Williams, Maleia McDonald, Scotty and Lynda McDonald and David and Corey Riddle; his sisters, Lola, Ruth and Doris; and his brother, Lloyd.

Service was Jan. 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Apostolic Truth Center with burial following in Harpersville City Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
