Evelyn M. Trice, 92, of Calera died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at home. She was born Aug. 22, 1913, in Jefferson County and was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Trice.

She is survived by her son, Verlyn Trice; her stepchildren, Harold (Julie) Trice, Polly (Hubert) Shirey and Faye Trice; her grandchildren, Carl (Wendy) Trice, Judi (Jay) Woodley and Carolyn (Pete) Dupree; one great-grandchild, Evelyn Morgan Dupree; and her brothers, Hugh (Della Mae) Martin and Carl (Vicki) Martin.

Service was Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Shelby Memory Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
