Flora D. Crosby

Flora D. Crosby, a native of Union, S.C., and a longtime resident of Vincent, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hamilton Crosby, and four brothers. She was a member of the Coosa Church of Christ in Childersburg. She was formerly a member of the North Charleston Church of Christ in North Charleston, S.C. While living in that area, she worked with civil service for more than 25 years. She retired at an early age to help congregations in mission work including traveling to the Holy Lands on two separate occasions.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Williams; her son, Ron Crosby; her daughter-in-law, Becki Crosby; her sister, Jane McAbee; four grandchildren, Jason (Nicole) Anderson, Drew (Melanie) Crosby, Lauren and Paige Crosby; and two great-grandchildren, Devon and Amber.
Service was conducted by Mickey Bell and Drew Crosby of Nashville, Tenn., Ridout’s Brown-Service directing. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Coosa Church of Christ, Flora D. Crosby Memorial Fund, 33365 Highway 280, Childersburg, AL 35044
