Commending Judge Moore

I would like to commend Judge Roy Moore for his courageous, Biblically and Constitutionally correct decision. It is a decision that reflects not only the laws of Alabama and laws of God, but also reflects the ideas and beliefs of our forefathers and early jurists on the various supreme courts.
Morality and Christian principles are what this county was founded on regardless of the lies being told and taught today. Our forefathers knew very well that if we abandoned the Holy Bible and Christian morals, our nation would be doomed, and that is exactly what we see happening.
We have reached the point today where &uot;right is wrong and wrong is right,&uot; where homosexuals and lesbians are OK and Christians aren’t, where it’s OK to live together outside of marriage, but the traditional family is looked on as something odd.
The Bible tells us that this kind of thinking occurs in a nation that has been given over by God to a reprobate (perverted) mind.
Make no mistake about it, homosexuality and lesbianism is sin that is repulsive to God. It is a reflection of the immorality that our forefathers and early Supreme Court justices knew would destroy our nation.
The following are some quotes that you may find interesting:
&uot; The only assurance of our nation’s safety is to lay our foundation in morality and religion.&uot; Abraham Lincoln.
&uot;We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions. Upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.&uot; James Madison.
&uot;Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.&uot; Benjamin Franklin.
&uot;A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.&uot; Samuel Adams.
&uot;Religion, morality, and knowledge (are) necessary to good government, the preservation of liberty, and the happiness of mankind.&uot; The U.S. Supreme Court, 1892.
&uot; What follows from this? That he is the best friend to American Liberty, who is most sincere and active in promoting true and undefiled religion, and who sets himself with the great firmness to bear down profanity and immorality of every kind. Whoever is an avowed enemy of God, I scruple (would not hesitate) to call him an enemy of his country.&uot; John Witherspoon.
&uot; The great and vital and conservative element in our system is the belief of our people in the pure doctrines and divine truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.&uot; House Judiciary Committee, 1854.
&uot;It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ.&uot; Patrick Henry.
&uot;Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.&uot; John Jay, First Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
&uot; For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the Natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the Natural use of woman, themselves the penalty of their error which was due.&uot; God through Paul in Romans 1:26-27.
&uot; You shall not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination.&uot; God through Moses in Leviticus 18:22.
The ruling by Judge Moore is consistent with the Word of God and with the law of the land as intended and understood by the founders of our nation.
The reason it is so shocking is because we have had and continue to have Godless reprobates on the courts and in the Congress that have no regard for God and His laws.
We also have gutless men in many pulpits who don’t have the courage to stand on God’s Word and stand against this unconstitutional belief in separation of church and state.
If you have a pastor who says it is important to keep our Christian religion out of our governmental affairs, you need to fire him or leave your church.
If this is what he believes and is teaching, he doesn’t know a thing about the founding of our nation, nor does he believe God’s Word. He is a bigger danger to you, God’s church and the nation than are the radical, liberal, left-wing, anti-Christian mobs marching in the streets.
To think this nation can stand without standing on the principles of Jesus Christ is foolish; it cannot and will not.
Jesus said, &uot;I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me.&uot; (John 14:6) The only way God will bless and preserve this nation is through our faith and trust in His Son Jesus Christ. There is no other hope.
I want to end by saying this: Because of Judge Moore’s opinion issued recently, he has been called everything from a bigot to a hate monger.
No doubt many reading this article will say the same about me.
The fact is, those who really hate the homosexuals and lesbians are the &uot;friends&uot; that tell them everything is OK, that there is nothing wrong and there are no consequences.
Tell that to the millions who have died with AIDS.
Tell that to those whose homes have been destroyed and whose lives have been forever altered because of the sin of homosexuality.
Tell that to the millions who will die lost without Jesus because they are told God is pleased with their lifestyle. It is wrong and there are consequences, now and eternally.
While there is no doubt that every believer should hate all sin including the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism, if you are a true believer in Jesus, you will never hate, look down on or turn your back on people involved in this sin.
We have a responsibility to love them in Christ, yet love them enough to tell them the truth according to God’s Word.
If they reject the truth, we love them with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, and we should always be there for them if and when they ever need us.
In the meantime, Christians better pray for Judge Roy Moore. He will come under vicious attack.
We have a man who is willing to stand on the Constitution and the Word of God the way our forefathers intended.
While many will be trying to remove him, we need to make sure that they don’t and pray that God will fill our courts, U.S. Congress and state legislatures with more men like him.
Rest assured that the devil’s folks will be doing what they’re supposed to do. It’s time for God’s people to quit sitting idly by doing nothing.
God help us if we don’t stand up on this issue. They took prayer out of schools and made the murders of little babies legal through abortion because Christians remained silent. If we don’t stand up now, may God have mercy on us and our nation.
