Incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office from March 15-20.

March 15

-Criminal mischief from the 500 block of Highway 39, Chelsea. Damaged in the amount of $300 were a front bumper and air dam.

-Criminal mischief from the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 280, Chelsea (parking lot, garage). Damaged were a key and lock in the amount of $15.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana/minor consumption of alcohol from Highway 145 at County Road 42, Shelby (highway, street). Recovered was a clear plastic bag containing leafy vegetable matter believed to be marijuana.

-Missing persons from the 4000 block of Bent River Lane, Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of Hebb Road, Wilsonville. Damaged were two chickens valued at $20.

-Criminal mischief from the 5000 block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea (convenience store). Damaged was a windowpane.

-Domestic violence-assault from the 100 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 2000 block of Springfield Loop, Birmingham.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from the BP Highway 280 West, Chelsea (convenience store).

-Community notification violation from Oliver Street.

March 16

-Abandoned vehicle from the 700 block of County Road 8, Wilton (highway, street). Abandoned was a 2002 minivan.

-Hunting without permit/criminal trespassing from the 200 block of Mimosa Road, Leeds (field, woods).

-Civil dispute from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea.

-Domestic investigation from Maylene.

-Harassing communications from the 5100 block of South Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief from Wal-Mart parking lot, Highway 280, Chelsea (suffix 01). Damaged was a hood, trunk, both rear doors and left rear quarter panel in the amount of $500.

-Criminal mischief from the 2000 block of Springfield Loop West, Birmingham. Damaged in the amount of $200 were two windows (glass busted out).

-Domestic investigation from the 50 block of Clear Springs Way, Shelby.

-Harassment from the 6900 block of Highway 11, Pelham.

-Theft of property from behind Porto Bella Circle, Birmingham (construction). Stolen were a single-axle trailer valued at $2,500, a 7,500 watt generator valued at $850, a hunting tree stand valued at $275 and assorted tents and camping equipment valued at $250.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 200 block of Timber Trail, Chelsea. Stolen was a Capital One credit card valued at $299.99.

-Theft of property from the 25 block of Green Leaf, Chelsea (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a 1998 Dodge Ram valued at $9,500.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card fro the 5,000 block of Highway 280, Harpersville (convenience store).

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham (highway, street). Recovered was a glass marijuana pipe.

-Burglary from the 400 block of Highway 270. Stolen were a Nintendo DS valued at $140 and a Nintendo DS game valued at $23.

-Receiving stolen property from Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham (highway, street). Recovered were a Dodge R-2500 truck, a 12-Pace utility trailer, a Briggs and Stratton power generator, a project motorcycle, a tree stand and miscellaneous power tools.

-Domestic violence from Highway 55, Wilsonville.

-Miscellaneous information from the 300 block of Stoncrest Drive, Birmingham.

March 17

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Blackerby Lane, Chelsea.

-Criminal littering/disorderly conduct from Oak Mountain State Park behind Indian Springs School (other, unknown).

-Domestic violence-harassment from Merry Fox Farms Road, Alabaster.

-Assault from Middle Street, Montevallo.

-Forgery from the 500 block of Highway 119, Alabaster (supermarket). Forged and recovered was a check for $23.58.

-Sodomy from Highway 43, Vandiver.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana/possession of drug paraphernalia from the 5300 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (other, unknown).

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from Highway 280 West, Birmingham (convenience store). Stolen was a credit card valued at $295.34.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 5200 block of Heather Hedge Circle, Birmingham. Stolen were charges on a debit card of 76 cents and $75.57.

-Recovered stolen property from the 4000 block of Rock School Road, Harpersville (field, woods). Recovered was a 1999 vehicle.

-Criminal mischief from the 1000 block of Altadena Rise, Birmingham. Damaged was a left rear window on a Toyota Camry.

-Unauthorized use of a vehicle from Hamilton Drive, Montevallo.

-Criminal mischief from County Road 46 at Highway 145, Shelby. Damaged were two track hoes in the amount of $2,500 each.

-Domestic violence (harassing communications) from the 100 block of Cardwell Circle, Montevallo.

March 18

-Domestic violence-assault from Brantleyville Court, Maylene (suffix 01).

-Domestic violence/torture, willing abuse of a child from Brantleyville Court, Maylene (suffix 02).

-Welfare check/miscellaneous information from the 13000 block of Highway 43, Vandiver.

-Theft of property from the 500 block of Highway 31, Alabaster (commercial). Stolen was a Lowboy valued at $30,000.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Country Hill Road, Montevallo. Stolen were jewelry valued at $1,250 and a watch valued at $125.

-Domestic violence from Pin Oak Drive, Chelsea.

-Interference with custody of child from the 1300 block of Belmont Lane, Helena.

-Miscellaneous information from County Road 11, Chelsea.

-Civil dispute from the 19000 block of Highway 145, Shelby. Damaged was culvert piping.

-Civil dispute over child custody order from Hummingbird Close, Montevallo.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Carly Drive, Montevallo (suffix 01).

-Harassment from the 100 block of Carly Drive, Montevallo (suffix 02).

-Theft from County Road 260, Montevallo (commercial). Stolen was a torque wrench valued at $245.

-Duty to give information and render aid from Valleydale Road at Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham (parking lot, garage). Damaged in the amount of $100 was the rear bumper of a 1998 Toyota Camry.

-Miscellaneous information from Highway 280 west of Highway 85, Harpersville (other, unknown).

-Suicide attempt from Lullwater Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence (assault) from the 200 block of Joseph Drive, Columbiana. Recovered were a Mossberg Maverick 12-gauage valued at $200, a Husky Phillips head screwdriver valued at $5 and domestic violence disposable camera.

-Theft of property from the 3300 block of Westover Road. Stolen was a black and white dog.

-Identity theft/harassing communications from the 100 block of Davis Hawkins Street, Montevallo.

-Theft of property from Highwall Mine, Auger Pit (construction). Stolen was a gasoline powered water pump with hoses valued at $1,500.

-Burglary from the 1300 block of Highway 43, Vandiver. Damaged was a rear door in the amount of $150.

-Offenses against intellectual property from the 4600 block of Highway 280 East, Birmingham (liquor store).

-Burglary from the 5600 block of Double Oak Lane, Birmingham. Recovered was a green safe.

-Burglary from the 3300 block of Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham. Stolen were an iPod Touch/Apple valued at $500 and a container of pennies.

-Burglary from the 3300 block of North Broken bow Drive, Birmingham. Stolen were $380 in cash and $200 in change, money.

-Found lost property from the 1000 block of Highway 57. Recovered were a jacket, non-driver identification card and change (coins).

March 19

-Theft of property from the 4700 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (service, gas station). Stolen was $20 worth of pre-paid gasoline.

-Property damage from the 4900 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham (commercial).

-Miscellaneous information from Highway 17/Tolbert Circle, Montevallo (highway, street).

-Domestic violence/harassment from Brantleyville Lane, Maylene.

-Criminal mischief from the 5300 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway, Birmingham. Damaged were nine air conditioning units in the following amounts, one $499, six $1,098 and two $599.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from Highway 280 East at Highland Lakes, Birmingham (highway, street). Stolen were a drive shaft valued at $300, a tool set valued at $70 and a 12,000-pound winch valued at $1,500.

-Theft of property/fraudulent use of credit/debit card from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (other, unknown). Stolen were a Social Security card, driver’ license and five credit cards.

-Property damage from the 4900 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham (commercial).

-Agency assist-fire EMS/death investigation from the 45200 block of Harvest Ridge Lane, Birmingham. Confiscated, seized were medications.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from Kenley Way, main office. Stolen were purse, three cards, two check books, two debit cards, a driver’s license and gold ring with diamonds valued at $6,000.

-Civil dispute from the 1400 block of Turtle Lake Drive, Birmingham.

March 20

-Miscellaneous information/animal compliant from the 100 block of Pine Oaks Drive, Montevallo. Damaged were three lambs and four chickens.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 1200 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (suffix 02).

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 1200 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (suffix 01).

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 16000 bloc of Highway 280, Chelsea (parking lot, garage). Stolen were a black plastic toolbox with various wrenches, sockets and screwdrivers valued at $150 and 5-gallong gas can with five gallons of gas valued at $30.
