Foster earns Parson scholarship

For the second consecutive year, Mary Foster of Northern Shelby is the recipient of the Ursula Clark Parson Scholarship award presented during the college’s 2009 Honors Day Convocation at Birmingham Southern College. It is given to a worthy female in her sophomore or junior year who is interested in the field of creative writing.
Foster, a sophomore undeclared major, is the daughter of Gary and Holly Foster.
