ISS honors Outstanding Alum of the Year

Dr. Arthur M. Freeman III was awarded the ISS Outstanding Alum of the Year Award during Alumni Weekend activities on May 30.

Dr. Arthur M. Freeman III was awarded the ISS Outstanding Alum of the Year Award during Alumni Weekend activities on May 30.

Dr. Arthur M. Freeman III of Birmingham is the recipient of Indian Springs School’s Outstanding Alum of the Year Award.

Freeman, a 1959 graduate, was honored during Alumni Weekend activities on May 30. He is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Alabama Birmingham and a psychiatrist at Grayson and Associates in Birmingham.

The award came with a multimedia presentation of Freeman's life and a commemorative plaque that includes a photograph of the ISS campus taken by graduate Emory Bright of Birmingham.

Freeman and wife Linda have three children and three grandchildren.
